The 12 principles of highly successful leaders


1.Be true to character

This means that we should be ourselves all the time and never pretend to be anyone else. It is better for people to know the real you. That should be one reason to why we should be true to our chracter but to also know the real us. We should know ourselves before anyone does. If not theres no point in meeting people if they dont know the real you.







                                      
    2. Use your imagination. 

This means that we should be open minded. We should use our imagination to be able to achieve our goals. Imagination can help with never giving up because you're using your imagination to set your goals far.






3. Apply the power of knowledge This principle means that we should apply what we know to something. It will give us power. Having knowledge makes us great, that why we should never give up at anything we learn. We should always learn new things everyday. Sometimes we fail but that's how we learn. Knowledge does have to do with the amount of success we achieve, so that's why we should have knowledge to the goals we want to achieve.







4. Never give up


This principle just simply mean that we should never give up on something we want to achieve. We should always move forward instead of never trying at all. I will apply this principle in my Life Planning Goals Notebook because that will help me never give up on my goals. I will always succeed by never giving up.










 5. Find peace and balance



 This principle helps us understand how important it is to have peace with life and people. We should have peace with life so it can balance everything out and make your life better. Having revenge or being rancorous will lead to no success and it might just cause more problems, that is why we should balance everything in life so it can go along with your decisions smoothly. I have applied this princle for  a year now and i've been happier and my life has felt peaceful and i striving for my goals with peace.

This principle means that we should trust people and never lose their trust by doing something bad. We should always be honest and that won't jeopardize your friendship. We should sometimes trust someone else aunderstand the person to make the team work . We can always succeed at something if we work together as a team, only if we trust and8.









8.Quick to listen slow to wrath

This principle means that we should listen more often than speak what we think. We should always try to listen closely so then we can respond wisely. This could help the other person, if we give good advice. I will apply this principle when i my friends or family want to talk to me, i will listen and then speak in a smart way. I will understand and support with good advice.



9. Lead with vision

This principle means that we should lead the right way. we should look for opportunities to make he right decision and choose the right. Like the picture on the right. We can see that leading doesn't mean to take charge it means being a leader and showing the rest to choose the right. I will apply this principle to my life because it well help me be a good leader when i am. I will apply this principle to my Life Planning Goals by visualizing my goals to motivate me to achieve them. 






10. Manage with a plan 





This principle means that we should plan what we want to achieve. We should always have a plan befor
-+e we step forward, it helps us achieve it by choosing the right.We should plan everything so we can achieve everything we want. Yes, we will have issues in our way of achieveing what we've planned but theres always more palns of removing those obstacles in our way from succeeding. I will apply this principle to my Life Planning Goal because i will simply use my notebook to plan my way of achieving my goals and succeding in life.










11. Do what matters the most



This principle means that we should do what is important first. Meaning we should always think about doing the best for ourselves and then move on to other people. We should also focus in school and then have some little fun. This is a good example because we should take life slowly and make good decisions that will help us in the future. Following this will help us lead ourselves to success. This helps me with my Life Planning Goals because it will help me write down the goals i want to achieve for myself first and then achieve the ones that will help my family or friends. 


12. Be accountable                   


  This Principle means that we should work today so then we can succeed tomorrow and the future. We should always try our best at everything and never give up. This principle adds up to the rest of the principles because it shows how we need every other principle to be accountable. We should learn from our mistakes and get up from every fail, we should let that lead us to success. I will apply this principle to my Life Planning Goals to help me be accountable towards my goals. It will also help me make better goals that will help me for the future. I will also apply this to my everyday life to think and always choose the right . 


Reflection:
The 12 principles will help me choose the right and succeed in life. It will help me achieve my goals with no problems. I will apply all of these principles to my everyday life so it can lead me to success. While doing this i realized i had to do a lot to maintain peace and have my goals achieved peacefully. These principles will help me not create issues on the way to success. I will keep peace with everyone unless they show me not too. I will manage my plan to now step by step how i will achieve my goals. I should always stay positive and never let things bring me down. These principles can help me be a better person and i will not stop doing them.

1. Make a commitment to tell the truth.
2. Tell someone about your commitment.

These steps show how we should have commitment to always saying the truth. We should be honest about everything because saying a lie is bad for ourselves and others. We should always tell others about our commitment so they can help us achieve and have a change in our lives, Barbara is right about always saying the truth because lies can cause many for lies and even problems. It can make a huge problems that can not be solved.


3. Think before you give a dishonest answer.

We should always think before we speak because whatever we say can hurt anyone or cause problems. Especially if you are being dishonest. We should always say the truth because hurting someone's feelings can leave a lot of damage to them and to others. Being dishonest can lead to another which can make the situation worse. We wouldn't like for others to lie to us and that's is why we should lie to anyone, especially if they're asking for honesty.


4. Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony. 
 We should be careful when we use sarcasm, exaggeration or irony because we can always over exaggerate about a simple problem and that can cause many other problems or it could just stress you out even more. We should be extra careful with who we use sarcasm. We can't use sarcasm with just anyone. We can't use with our boss because he/she can take it the bad way and you can get fired. Irony can't really be used with anyone who disagrees with your point, it can cause many arguments.

5. BE CAREFUL NOT TO TWIST THE TRUTH OR LEAVE OUT PART OF IT. 
This is similar to being honest , we should always say the truth completely without leaving anything behind. We should never make up things instead always be honest put your opinion or

6. Don't indulge in little white lies.

This means that we shouldn't be okay about the little lies we make. They can also hurt and destroy someones feelings. It can cause many problems in their life and your life. We should just always say the truth because lying doesn't lead to anything. Lying makes it hard for us to be honest with each other, making it hard to achieve our goals. I wouldn't like to achieve my goals knowing it was because of some little lie. I rather achieve them my honest way.




7.Watch out for silent lies.     
 This is a great tip to prevent us from saying a lie. If we stay quiet that's like lying because we're not honest about what we think or what is happening around us. We should always say the truth even if it might hurt someone. It will hurt now but it would hurt even more if it was a secret for a long time. Making up lies just hurt people, if we keep quiet about something the other person should know, that is considered a silent lie.

8. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse. 
This this means that if we find ourselves saying or about to say a lie, we should think before we say it. we should turn around and never say a lie. I will apply this tip by thinking before i say something that might be a lie. These type of lies might hurt someone and that's why we should prevent that from happening.





9. Talk to yourself. 
This tip means that we should know ourselves and helping ourselves to do the right thing or motivate yourself to get something done.
For example, if we're feeling sad, we could talk to ourselves and make ourselves feel much better by thinking positively. I will apply this tip when i'm about to do something that can my life or someone else's. I can lead me to the right thing to do. It is like thinking your actions twice.


10. Treat yourself when you tell the truth.
This tip means that we should treat ourselves when we say the truth, for example, be proud of yourself when we're honest to ourselves or to other people. We should do this more often because we should always feel good about what we say or do. We should always be honest and help people out instead of making their life harder. I will apply this tip by always saying the truth about everything and be proud of myself when i do it.

These ten tips have helped me be a better person, It has helped me say the truth more often because now i know its the best way to choose the right. This benefits me by making people trust and sharing their lives with because they know they will always count of because i'm a truthful . person. The tips i'm applying right now about being truthful are talking to my self and treating myself when i say the truth. This has helped me improve my honesty because i feel good about myself afterwards. I don't like the feeling i get when i lie so i say the truth and treat myself. I'm talking to myself so i can know myself better and be honest with other people. I always think twice before i do something or say something. I will incorporate these tips into my Life Planning Goals to achieve things that are truthful.

How the Internet Works


What i learned about the Internet in Khan Academy is that we need a lot of codes to process something we search for on it. Many steps are required to check if the codes and what we search for a secure. The computer does this by checking its cyber security. I think its amazing how a message from one computer goes to another by just many codes like "1" and "0". I have also learned that the Internet is a dangerous place but many people are trying their best to make it secure.

CLARITY
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction ans know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for other who do."

This key means that we should know what we want to do or be in the future. We should know now to be able to do what is need to accomplish that. We should have goals set up that motivates us to keep going and never give up. We should also be confident of our goals and accomplishments and never let anything bring us down. We should be open-minded to accomplish everything.

Common Sense
  • Train your mind 
  • Think things through 
  • Listen to your intuition
  • Learn from setbacks
Your intuition will tell you intimate and important things nobody else will—and it will also tell you things your own mind will argue with. As a culture, we have learned to believe that being rational is what should prevail when making decisions.We can have a quiet mind to think about whats going on and make it better.We should follow our dreams, goals and never give up.

Creativity

consideration is important because it shows how considerate you are over your goals and people around you Consideration is a big part of having a good relationship with many people.

"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
"Be consistent in your relationships,your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you do it."
This key means to take consideration about other people. We have to respect others so we can get the same respect back. We should never put anyone down because i'm pretty sure no one would like if they do that to them. We should always give your best in group works because that makes a great team.



Key 8:
Commitment 
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commitment to yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
Commitment is important because it help achieve goals by not giving up. If we are committed to something we should go for it and never let anything or anyone bring is down. We should also be committed to everyone. If we say we're going to do something for someone or something. we should stay with that promise and actually do it. If we don't commit to anything, there is no point if making goals if we're not going to achieve them.

Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."

Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again.'







Reflection :
i think the 10 keys are a great way to make friends, to help people out and be comfortable with ourselves. I am working on my confidence, because i always bring myself down, i need to stop that and realize that i can do many great things by myself. This can benefit me by making me a better person to my community and my friends or family. I have also been working on commitment, i commit myself to many things and i make sure i achieve those. I would incorporate these keys to my Life Planning goals by making my goals even better, i would also use all of these keys to achieve all my goals.
