Healthcare administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities. They are responsible for long-range planning. Financial administration, personnel administration, materials management, purchasing, public, affairs, and patient administration.

Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. Most healthcare administrations hold master’s degrees in healthcare administration or business administration.

Histology Specialists

Duties and responsibilities: Histology Specialists include both Histologic Technicians and Histologic. Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy. They prepare tissue samples by using equipment to thinly slice tissue samples.

Salary: $22,000 - $35,000 (Histologic technicians)

No I would not want to be Histology Specialists because I’m not interested in it.

Health Information specialists post and analyze medical, workload, finance, and insurance data. Health information specialists make sure that information is properly recorded into medical records. There is variety of jobs within this topic, there’s Registered Record Administrators, Accredited Record Technicians, and Certified Coding Specialists.  Administrators coordinate the various information management responsibilities and supervise. Technicians make sure medical records are accurate, and specialists assign and post correct diagnosis and procedure.  

Average Salary: $20,000 - $25,000

Education: Students should take high school courses in business, information management, science, math, and English. Students must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Specialist must pass and examination. They must earn an associate degree from an accredited college program or from the American health information management Association Independent Study Program.

I would not like to be health information specialists because I’m don’t think it’s interesting.

I would want to a genetic counselor because I would like to help patients and families. I think it’s a great job and its salary is great too.
