The sting of the scorpion.
The little boy did the wrong thing because he didn't put shoes on like his mom say. he just put on some sandals, which he knew was wrong, that's why he got stung by a scorpion. So every wrong thing you do has a bad consequence.

“When I do good, I feel good.
When I do bad, I feel bad.”
Abraham Lincoln

I think this means that when you do bad, you feel bad and regret what you did sometimes but when you do good, you feel good for what you did and dont feel like regreting it. For example, when i was in another school, i wouldnt do my work and would'nt care about school and then i felt bad and i regret doing it, but another time i would do my work and care about my grades and i felt good, and didn't feel like regreting it.
